Why are we all here ? To be mere heaps of protoplasm with an urge to breed and continue in being ( *thank you , Joseph Campbell* ) ? ? ? To be recyled meat puppets for the status quo heirarchy ? To pursue ad nauseum the limited notions of personality , character , self and the repetitous relationships of the conventional social circumstance ? To perpetuate the temporeal phenomena of folly and farce that we call civilization ? . . .The warm tears streaming from my eyes , and my soul crying out only one question " Why must i continue to endure this ultimately fleeting and empty experience ? At what higher cognizance am i to arrive by seeing this through to a natural demise ? . . . It's all simply the same question expressed in many forms - What's the meaning behind all this ?
The carnal person would say that there is no more than this flesh , the established hierachy of desire , effort , and reward , and in the end fertilizer for the next generation of corporeal identities , , , nothing more !
The spiritual me ( whose presence is only made real with faith ) says that all that is available to my senses and consciousness , all this is connected and is oneness . This is all one person who erroneously perceives a dualistic drama manifest in spacetime . The enduring reality and truth beyond the transitory phenomena is unity , wholeness , totality , eternal essence , and infinite presence , , , and the entrance to this is to let go of a sense of separation , let go the craving , let go the fiction and drama ,and simply , be now here !
